The Rancho Colorados Junior Tennis Academy is for the Junior that wants to improve their level of play or who is just starting out. All clinics emphasize stroke fundamentals, game based point play and fun! Each clinic uses age appropriate tennis balls and court dimensions.
Children attending our Academy come from all schools within the Lafayette system. It's a great way for them to get exercise, learn tennis and have fun with friends (or make some new ones) after-school.

*Registration for the 2020 WINTER SESSION 2 for Hot Shots and Rising Stars starting February 19th 2020 will be available on Top Dog beginning February 13th 2020.......
HIGH SCHOOL TOURNAMENT TRAINING CLINIC (Will Resume in August 2020)
This program is for the High School tournament level player who aspires to play or is already playing on their High School team. This program is designed for our high level Juniors. The scope of the Clinic will be a progression of skill development, point play, on-court footwork and match play strategy for both singles and doubles.
PRE-TOURNAMENT TRAINING CLINIC(New Session begins February 25th 2020 ) This program is for our Advanced 11, 12, 13 and 14 year old who want to take their game to the next level and play in tournaments. These players are on a full court using regular balls. Emphasis will be on stroke production, footwork and match play.
SUPER STARS CLINIC (New Session Begins March 5th 2020) This program is for our Intermediate/Advanced9, 10 and 11 year olds who are skilled on the basics of tennis. Emphasis will be on the fundamentals of stroke production, point play and match strategy. We will be training with Green Dot balls on a full court.
RISING STARS CLINIC(New Session Begins February 19th 2020) This program targets our Beginner/Intermediate 7-10 year olds who are just picking up the game or have had some basic experience playing. Emphasis will be placed on proper fundamentals, technique and point play. Training will be with Green Dot balls on a 60 ft. court.
HOT SHOTS CLINIC (New Session Begins February 19th 2020) This program is designed for our Beginning 4-6 year olds who are just learning to play. The focus will be on fun and fundamentals! Class will be taught with Red balls on a 36ft. court.
